Morganosky dollar (eng. Morgan Dollar) - silver coin USA in denominations of $ 1, produced from 1878 to 1904 and in 1921. The coin was named in honor of medal designer George T. Morgan, who has developed its appearance and whose monogram is placed on the obverse of the coin in the bottom of the image of the head of Liberty. The coin was produced from metal 900 samples and contained 24,057 grams of pure silver. This type of dollar is considered a classic numismatic illustrations of American ideals freedom and independence. Chasing "marjanovskaja of the dollar began in 1878 made of high-grade silver mine Comstock, Nevada, discovered and developed during the Gold rush.

Obverse: Head of Liberty left in the Phrygian cap with crown-diadem and circular wreath made of twigs of cotton and wheat ears, over her head the Latin motto "E pluribus unum", below the date.
Reverse: bald eagle, heraldic image of a North American The United States of America, holding in its paws olive branch and a bundle of arrows around a wreath of olive branches, a node wreath mint's mark yard (not available for coins minted in Philadelphia). Above the eagle the inscription in Gothic letters "In God We Trust". Circular inscription: top "United States of America", at the bottom of "One Dollar".
