Scope MAPEI Kerapoxy
Mapei epoxy grout is used to fill joints of 3 mm on the floor and the walls, ceramic tiles or stone inside and outside of premises. Also as sour-shistaykova adhesive for fast installation of ceramic tiles, natural stone, asbestos cement, reinforced concrete and other building materials on top of all the usual bases used in construction.
Examples of the use of Mapei Kerapoxy
• Grouting floor and wall ceramic tiles in the food industry (dairies, canneries, factories for the production of alcoholic beverages).
• Grouting floor and wall ceramic tiles that require high mechanical strength and resistance to acids.
• Grouting in swimming pools; especially suitable for baths with thermal or salt waters.
• Filling joints in tanks that contain aggressive chemical agents
• Grouting tile joints on lab benches and tables, work surfaces, kitchens, etc.
• Gluing acid resistant ceramic tiles (as glue this part meets the requirements of class R2T and the European norm EN 12004).
• Gluing marble steps and window sills.
• Gluing of the individual parts.
Specifications
Grout is a two-component product. It consists of epoxy resin, curing agent, silica and special additives with excellent resistance to acids and ease of cleaning.
