INTRODUCTION

The main directions of economic and social development of the USSR on 1985-1990 and for the period up to 2000 provided full the acceleration of scientific-technical progress, improving efficiency and quality of social production. Electronics largely determines the development of scientific and technological progress. Electronic instrument (CEA) is widely used in all fields of scientific and production activities. Its use greatly contributes to the mechanization and automation of various sectors economy.

Normal operation of REA are provided in accordance with the parameters of all her blocks are made individually specified technical requirements. After fabrication of the units, blocks of electronic devices they need to be adjusted, since the parameters of the capacitors, resistors, semiconductor elements, vacuum devices and other elements typically have deviations from the values which accepted at calculations of electronic circuits. Also need to fix wiring errors. Each block before switching to the joint work with other units adjust to ensure the set of output parameters and control its functioning. Therefore, the adjustment elements, units, blocks, is one of the main operations in technological the fabrication process of CEA. Usually the adjustment is carried out using the adjusting elements (variable resistors, capacitors variable capacity, etc.) without modifying the scheme and design element node, block.

The increasing complexity of electronic equipment used in scientific research and industry, and at home. Modern electronic equipment contains a large number of discrete elements and various connected modules and units. The process adjustment of this equipment is logistically challenging, requiring qualified staff of traffic controllers REA, who is able to apply the well-known standard methods of CEA regulation, and to develop new advanced methods and techniques of adjustment that to reduce the time adjustment and to accelerate the production of the equipment. From quality adjustment, one of the final operations the production of CEA depends on the quality of the product as a whole.

Therefore, the traffic controller of radio equipment must have excellent knowledge of fundamentals of radio electronics, own measuring devices, to be able accurately understand electronic circuits, to have skills in identifying and Troubleshooting. For the proper organization the process of adjusting it with the necessary relevant information on electricity and radio equipment, method of control and precision used measuring equipment, which, as a rule, have to exceed in the order specified accuracy settings.

The manual contains basic concepts about measurement and measuring technique, advice on how Troubleshooting is considered the main functional nodes. Special attention is given to analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog-converters govem and methods of their regulation, which still insufficiently reflected in the literature and described methods to fit passive elements nodes in microelectronic design.

The purpose of the guide is to assist the controllers in their REA day-to-day work, improving productivity and quality equipment.

The authors thank the reviewers and readers for their many useful comments and concerns raised after the release of the first edition of the Handbook. They considered during the preparation of this publication.
