Polysorbate 80 is used to make massage bars, salt and sugar scrubs. Soluble in oils, in combination with vegetable oils creates a hydrophilic oil, which is easily washed off with water. Used to create funds with the lowest foam. Often used in combination with fatty alcohols, oils, creams and lotions for the skin, as an emulsifying wax.
At concentrations above 1% is used as a thickener.
Recommendations for use:
no more than 1-5% of the total mass, can sometimes be used to 1:1 depending on the recipe.
