Posts explosion-proof keypad series KU-90 — only the model c plastic cover that has the explosion protection marking 1ExdIIBT5/PB ExdI. Used for remote control motor starters, contactors and other electromagnetic devices,as well as for signaling. They have two of the explosion protection marking in accordance with which determine their scope.

Posts marked PB ExdI use in coal and shale mines, including hazardous gas and dust. If is marked 1ExdIIВТ5, then post should be used in such hazardous area industries like oil-refining, gas, chemical, etc. the design of the posts is convenient because of its analogy with the usual switch, so they can be used in lighting circuits.

Design

The post consists of a shell, the input device with the seal actuator and button elements. Input device provides the possibility of connection of flexible and armored cables as well as cables and wires laid in steel pipes with nominal diameters up to 16 mm and with sealing rubber rings. On arms control, depending on the type of post caused the following inscriptions:
on single button STOP;
on two-button – START. STOP;
on three-button – FORWARD. AGO, STOP.
