Is a sodium salt of stearic acid or a mixture of salts
stearic and synthetic fatty acids. Poorly soluble in cold water,
insoluble in most organic solvents, dissolves in ethanol and
hot water. Anionic surface-active substance (surfactant).
Application

In the production of detergents, Soaps component,
shampoos, hair dyes;
- In the manufacture of polyolefins, rubbers and
rubber, dry construction mixtures, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals;
- As an additive to toothpaste,

the formation of polyamides;
- Antispywa additive in the food
