Barium chloride
Barium chloride(chloride barium) — binary inorganic substancerelated to the class of salts. Chemical formula is BaCl2.
Barium chloride is widely used in various industries industry and agriculture:
- in the technological processes of the chemical industry in the manufacture of dyes and pigments, cleaning solutions of chromates and sulfate, for the production of barium salts;
- in mechanical engineering and metallurgy used in the process high speed steel hardening, heat treatment products, as the heating medium in the technology of hot extrusion of metals, and the process of cyanidation of the various parts, as an additive in the electrolytes in receiving magnesium, in ferrous metallurgy as chataway material;
in the textile industry are used for weighting and skin lightening;
in agriculture is used for pest control.
Barium chloride is stored in closed warehouse the premises, separately from other products.
