Coragen® 20 K. S. has a new unique mechanism of action. The main effect of Coragen® 20 K. C. occurs when entering into insects, as well as through the cuticle (intestinal-contact action). Active ingredient chlorantraniliprole activates ranidin receptors that play a key role in muscle contraction. In insects, the drug activates the release of internal reserves of calcium from muscle. The depletion of calcium arsenals leads to the inhibition of muscle contraction. In the pest quickly loses the ability to nutrition and movement in the first hours after spraying with final paralysis and death for 2-4 days. Coragen® 20 K. S. also has Ovi-larvicide effect, which manifests itself in a time-dependent treatment.
