fertilizer GOST-9027-82. Ammonium sulphate contains 21% nitrogen and 24% sulfur.
It is chemically neutral crystalline salt of white colour, well soluble in water.
Its hygroscopicity is weak, therefore, long-term storage is not deformed and
retains flowability. The importance of nitrogen in plant life is difficult to overestimate -
he ranks first among the mineral compounds, and therefore focus on the value of the sulphur
in the life of plants. Sulfur is an essential element of food
crops, like nitrogen, it is part of proteins and
amino acids. Physiological role in plant nutrition sulphur should be
third after nitrogen and phosphorus.
A significant portion of sulfur in
the plant is in the form of salts of sulfuric acid, therefore, the ammonium sulfate is
an excellent source of sulfur nutrition. Ammonium, a part of ammonium sulphate,
well available to plants, little mobility and will not leach from soils that
provides the possibility of its wide use as a basic fertilizer, and
the spring feeding.
