Hens foxy chick (Foxy Chick) belong to the meat-egg breed.
This bright red chicken in color like a Fox, popular in many countries, because it has many advantages:
- very unpretentious, does not require specific feed and conditions to grow, thrives in outdoor cultivation, and in the cell;
- has a very good growth rate (at the age of six months, weigh 1.5 kg, and 4 separate individuals can reach 3.5 kg, adult roosters to 6 kg);
- chickens differ almost 100% survival rate;
- have a great taste of the meat;
- Eizenstat age is 4-4,5 months, roughly a year bring 300 eggs.
In Ukraine the first chickens were imported from Hungary, so called the Hungarian giant, or Red broiler.
