WENGE (WENGE)
Sapwood is nearly white, of a width of about three
centimeters. Color of Mature wood from Golden-brown with black
streaks to black. Over time, significantly darkens. The core of wenge
dark brown, with frequent thin veins, giving the wood a beautiful
. The grain is straight. The structure is large. Wenge wood is heavy, stable,
characterized by high resistance to bending and impact loads. Very
persistent, strong and dense wood. Easily handled, but polished with difficulty.
