The AMMONIUM BIFLUORIDE (Ammonium fluoride acid) is a colourless, slightly hygroscopic crystals with rhombic lattice.
Application
Ammonium fluoride acid is used:
• for glass etching instead of bifluoride ammonium fluoride and hydrofluoric acid
• enhanced oil recovery (debit) wells;
• dissolution of sand in oil wells;
• flushing of pipelines.
• as the disinfecting agent in the production of alcohol;
• as an industrial preservative (inhibitor of bacteria) and anti-corrosive agent in the fermentation, etc.
