Glue (adhesive) Elastobond 24 for hot vulcanization of rubber to metals

 

Lastobond 24 - universal binder, designed to obtain a connection rubber / metal with high resistance to high temperatures.

 

Lastobond 24 for bonding rubber, based on IR , IIR , NR , NBR , BR , SBR , CR and Vamac . Together with the ground of Lastobond 11 attaches bonded to detail excellent resistance to corrosion, temperature and glycol.

 

System bonding Lastobond 11 + Lastobond 24 gives excellent results for rubber metal parts subjected to high dynamic loads and high temperatures.

Application

Lastobond 24 can be applied by spraying, dipping or brushing. To achieve the recommended coating thickness of approximately 15 microns, we recommend the following breeding

Brush

Undiluted

Dipping

Undiluted or 20% in toluene or xylene

Spraying

30-50% in MEK (methyl ethyl ketone) or toluene

 

Important:

Lastobond 24 should be thoroughly stirred before use to ensure uniformity. Dissolved the product to stir constantly to avoid precipitation (separation).

In dry form Lastobond 24 forms a hard, dry, black film. Coated parts can be stored for several weeks in a clean place.
