Lastobond 11
Lastobond 11 is a universal primer for binders of the family Lastobond, suitable for use with binders of Lastobond 21 or Lastobond 24.
Lastobond 11 provides communication elastomer/metal with excellent protection against water, corrosion, and, in General, the effect of hydrolysis. In addition, provides excellent thermal and dynamic stability. (Additionally Lastobond 11 provides resistance to liquid technical and grease consistency). Even in the case of substrates with which it is difficult to ensure communication, application of Lastobond 11 facilitates the achievement of excellent communication.
Lastobond 11 is particularly suitable for single-layer bonding nitrile rubber (NBR), widely used for the production of gaskets.

Application
Ground Lastobond 11 can be applied by spraying, dipping or brushing. To achieve the recommended coating thickness of approximately 10 microns, we recommend the following dilutions:

Undiluted
Dip
Undiluted or 20% in MEK (methyl ethyl ketone) or toluene
Spraying
30-50% in MEK (methyl ethyl ketone) or toluene
Important:
Undiluted, Lastobond 11 should be thoroughly stirred before use to ensure uniformity. Dissolved the product to stir constantly to avoid precipitation (separation).
In dry form Lastobond 11 forms a gray film on the metal parts, providing excellent protection against corrosion. Metal parts are correctly parsed by Lastobond, can be stored for several weeks in a clean place.
