The main use of silica gels find at
drying air, carbon dioxide, hydrogen, oxygen, nitrogen, chlorine and other
industrial gases. The ability of silica gel to absorb a significant amount
water is used for the dehydration of various liquids, particularly in the case
when dewatering the liquid dissolves poorly water (drying halogenated
